Conference V4DIS 2020 is cancelled

In view of the present situation concerning COVID-19 pandemic in Europe we were forced to cancel the conference Visegrad Group for Developing Information Society (V4DIS 2020) on the grounds of the Government´s decision on quarantine, prohibition of free movement between states and other follow-up measures, on the announced date of April 19–21, 2020. Preparations for this year´s ISSS/V4DIS continue. There are still 6 weeks left before the conference and we can rely on the full support of state authorities, public administration and all cooperating entities from the partnership structure. (more)
V4DIS 2020 was supported by the Visegrad Fund

The seventeenth year of the conference V4DIS (Visegrad Four for Developing Information Society), which will be held in the days from 19 to 21 April 2020 as usual simultaneously with the national conference ISSS, was officially supported also by the Visegrad Fund. At the two-day conference in the Aldis Congress Centre in Hradec Králové there will meet representatives of public administration from the Visegrad Four countries, who deal with the issue of society informatization, e-government development and public administration reform. They will meet local as well as foreign experts in this issue as well as managers of firms supplying their services and technologies to this segment. (more)

Ve středu 13. listopadu zemřel prof. Andrzej Janicki,
v minulosti pravidelný aktivní účastník, přednášející a hlava
polských delegací na konferenci ISSS/V4DIS.
Až do vysokého věku si udržel rozhled,
mladou mysl a společenskou noblesu. Vedle polského e-governmentu bude chybět
i nám všem…
Czech Presidency of the Visegrad Group

From 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2020 the Czech Republic will preside the Visegrad Group–in this time there will take place another, already the seventeenth, year of the V4DIS Conference (Visegrad Four for Developing Information Society), which will be held in the days of 20–21 April simultaneously with a national Conference ISSS in Hradec Králové. One of the priorities of the Czech Presidency includes further development of collaboration within the V4+ group and strengthening coalition potential within the EU. (more)
