Preparations of V4DIS 2017

In the days of 2–4 April 2017 simultaneously with the national conference ISSS there will be held already for the fourteenth time the traditional international conference V4DIS (Visegrad Four for Developing Information Society). Representatives of public administration from the Visegrad Four will meet once again in the Congress Centre Aldis in Hradec Králové and will welcome a number of colleagues from other European countries as well as tens of local and foreign experts devoted to the issue of society informatization and public administration reform.

Main topics of the coming year will include as usual evaluation of e-government development in the Visegrad countries as well as information on key projects that have been successfully launched or already finished. Traditionally the programme will be devoted also to the projects concerning further development of cross border cooperation, experience in modern technologies implementation in the wide spectrum of areas connected with public administration and samples of best practices.

The main organizer of the V4DIS conference is the Association Czech At, co-organizer is once again the Vysočina Region that was the main implementor of the large project LDA-V4 that was discussed already within the previous Visegrad meetings and the whole concept of the event is significantly shared with the cities Hradec Králové and Prague. Apart from the usual accompanying events of the ISSS conference the V4DIS 2017 programme will offer also the traditional VIP gala evening in the Klicpera theatre, gala prize awarding of the international competition Eurocrest or awarding of the participants of the competition of young talents JuniorErb, who will be handed over memorial certificates from the hands of a deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of CR.
